BREIT Can Now Be Traded Via New Alternative Trading Platform
Even though Blackstone is still limiting redemptions, investors can now sell into private markets
Given the current liquidity concerns among banks, we’re seeing significant volatility in the public markets. Ultimately, we expect this to impact the less-liquid private markets as well. LODAS Markets was created precisely for this reason, and I’m pleased to share that we continue to have committed buyers on our marketplace who are eager to bridge the liquidity gap.
Additionally, I’m happy to announce that Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT) is now available to trade on LODASMarkets.com. The popular fund has faced a substantial liquidity crunch and had to cap redemptions for the past four months. It’s expected to do so again at the end of March. As the flight to liquidity continues, the LODAS marketplace has significant institutional buy-side interest ready to provide liquidity on demand for BREIT shareholders.
Just like when we announced our ability to trade SREIT, the BREIT news put us in the media spotlight. Check out the articles below to see what reporters are saying about LODAS.
Lastly, mini tenders seem to be on the rise and I’m proud to report that LODAS is providing investors with substantially better transaction prices than those offers. For example, SILA Realty Trust, the target of a recent mini tender, saw its shareholders being offered $4.16 a share. As of today, SILA is trading on LODASMarkets.com for $5.75 a share, which is nearly a 42% premium.
We remain committed to keeping you informed of any developments in the markets and providing you with the best possible investment opportunities.
