We continue to offer a simple, fast and affordable way for you to buy and sell alternative and real estate investments. But with our name change, we will soon offer new trading opportunities for all kinds of investors.
We talked with a lot of investors in the last year and most said they want the peace of mind and portfolio security that a path to liquidity can provide.
LODAS stands for Liquidity On Demand As a Service. Our new name reflects our focus on helping you buy when you want to buy, and sell when you want to sell – even when your assets are considered illiquid.
The LODAS name also points to our company’s future. We’ll continue to connect individual investors, plus we’ll also provide liquidity on demand for some of the world’s largest funds and sponsors.
As a buyer, seller or investor, it’s business as usual.
The LODAS marketplace continues to operate like an exchange where alternative and real estate investments are traded similar to company stocks. All trades are still paperless and potentially executed the same day.
Buyers can continue to make purchases without fees. For sellers, the fee will remain a maximum 2.9 percent of the transaction with a $400 minimum.
We want this to be easy for you. So while our name changed, your account login and password remain the same.
Two main types of investments trade in our marketplace: publicly registered non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and business development corporations (BDCs). Soon, we’ll also have private real estate funds available to trade.
We’ll regularly add new products to the LODAS marketplace so you’ll have even more options for achieving a path to liquidity.
